The Evaluation Council has the objective of external evaluation of the programs and social policy of Public Administration, as well as the measurement of poverty and inequality.
On these terms it has carried out, through third parties, 21 external evaluations. Among those carried out between 2008 and 2010 the following stand out: Housing Improvement Program, Collective Housing Program, Micro-credits for Self-employment productive activities program, Breast cancer Integral Assistance Program, Economic support for Differently Abled persons Program, Medical Services and free medicine Access Program, Elderly people food pension Program, as well as the ones corresponding to gender policy, among others. On the other hand the internal evaluations are carried out by the corresponding responsible units that conduct public programs. It is worth mentioning that the Guaranteed Education Trust (Fideicomiso de Educación Garantizada) carried out the evaluation to the “Prepa Sí” Program.
